There is a lot going on in the world around us, and each of our lives always have some kind of challenge that we have to face on a daily basis. Be kind with yourself and give yourself a break, because :
You are not defined by how much you accomplish in a day or in a week. You are defined by who you are as a person, how you treat yourself and how you treat others.
You are good enough as you are. Your worth is not defined by the tasks you check off your to do, but rather, by the progress you make as a person, so that you are always becoming the best version of yourself.
We are going through an unprecedented time in our lives. On top of the general life challenges that always come up, we are also living through a pandemic, where our lives are turned upside down, and the uncertainty of our future, the safety of our friends and family, our daily routines and ability to “enjoy life” have completely changed.
And we can’t under-estimate how much this will impact our emotional energy, which in turn impacts our physical energy.
Give yourself a damn break.
Allow yourself a bit of space to just be. To rest. To cope however way you need to.
