After 2 years of uncertainty, pain, sadness and a whole range of other emotions… I finally took a vacation and travelled to beautiful Vancouver, B.C.
This was significant trip, not only because it was the first time I took some time off in the chaos of the last 2 years, but it was also the first trip that I’ve taken in a while with my sisters…and as a single lady.
We spent 10 days in Vancouver, explored the city, spent time in nature, discovered coffee shops, ate amazing food…and most importantly, laughed a lot.
I had so many moments during this trip where I felt free and happy…and it was a feeling that I really needed to experience again to remind myself that I am happy. I am okay. Yes, the last 2 years have been a nightmare, but it’s part of life, and there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
This video was my version of a vlog, where I shared a few snippets of what we did in Vancouver. We spent quite a bit of time in Stanley Park and on this particular day (one of the first days of our trip) we rented e-scooters and zipped around the park. We even found a little pond with baby racoons and ducks and geese and sat down to reflect and journal.
Life are about the small moments. And happiness is a choice that you can make.
I hope this video inspires you to choose happiness, every day, no matter what. And to remember that life is short to waste it on things that are not worth our energy.
