Let me ask you an honest question (and you have to give an honest answer): Do you feel like you keep on watching other people living their dreams and you’re just here, stuck in the same rut, living the same ol’ unexciting life?
It doesn’t have to be that way anymore.
In fact, I would argue that you already have things in your life that you’re proud of and excited for, but that you’re focusing on the wrong thing and comparing yourself to others.
Which you shouldn’t.
You have one life to live, and that’s yours, and yours alone.
You’re not Nancy or Suzie. You don’t have the same aspirations and goals. You don’t have the same upbringing, childhood, background and baggage. And you don’t have the same strengths, weaknesses and goals.
And all those elements, plus where you are in your life right now, will impact your perception of your goals and your dream life, of what’s possible and what’s impossible.
By the end of this post, I want you to feel like you CAN create and live your dream life. That you have the resources to figure it out. That your dream life is within reach, and that it doesn’t have to be as complicated and overwhelming as you make it out to be.
So. I know why you’re here. You want to know…how the EFF can YOU live YOUR dream life??
Well, let’s get right into it, shall we? Here are the 4 steps so that you can start living your dream life.
STEP 1 | Define your “dream life”
When’s the last time you sat down and clearly defined what your dream life looks like, what you want to achieve, and who you want to be?
I bet that you haven’t in a while. And that’s okay.
But now is your opportunity to figure it out. To really understand and get clarity of vision for what you want to create in your life, and what your dream life looks like.
How do you do that? By asking yourself inspiring questions such as :
- How do I want to feel?
- What makes me happy?
- When do I feel fulfilled?
- What do I want to experience?
- What does my “ideal” self look and feel like?
Even though these questions might seem “out there” and a bit “woo-woo”, they’re really not.
Think about it – how do you want to feel on a consistent basis? Do you want to feel angry, frustrated, overwhelmed, and stressed? Doubtful. (And if you do…then we need to talk).
Most of you will answer things like : I want to feel happy, fulfilled, confident, inspired, empowered, strong, powerful, successful etc.
By defining the emotions behind your dream life, you will gain a better understanding of what drives you but also what you need to be doing to create that dream life.
Other important questions that you must answer for yourself are what makes you happy. Even though this is a lifelong question, you have to start somewhere and continue thinking about it and understanding it).

STEP 2 | Believe that it’s possible
This might seem like an obvious one, but it’s not as obvious when you get caught up in the day-to-day, in disappointments, in challenges or in setbacks.
You must constantly remind yourself that anything is possible.
That you achieve your goals. That whatever you want, you can accomplish. That your dream life is within reach.
When you change your mindset towards believing that anything is possible, you will direct your thoughts and energy towards a more proactive approach when it comes to your life.
How do you believe that it’s possible?
Sounds simple but … you just do.
Start envisioning and feeling what it would feel like to live your dream life and achieve your goals. And I mean to truly feel the emotions within you. And you will start to see that your thoughts will be directed towards a more empowered and solution-oriented place where you will be able to figure out the steps and actions you need to take to bring that vision to life.
STEP 3 | Just start … and continue
If you want to transform your life, you must … MUST start anywhere and just keep going.
It takes one small step towards your goal, and then another… and then another. And before you know, you have taken 20 steps and are even closer to your dream life then you were when you started.
And “starting” includes things like answering the questions above, and then figuring out one small step you can like doing research on the gyms in your area, or a book you can read to learn something.
I really mean SMALL, tiny, incremental steps, that in the long-run will add up and get you closer to your dream life.
These steps and efforts must also be consistent. You have to make a daily effort to get you closer to your dream life.
This includes things like working on your mindset, meditating, being more physically active, being proactive to do research or call somewhere to get more information.
Again, it’s little efforts, small steps, that will add up with time and get you closer to your dream life.
STEP 4 | Set Inspired Goals
Your dream life is within reach, but you need to have a clear vision of what that looks like and the exact goals that you need to set to create your dream life.
This translates into setting inspired goals so that you have specific targets to work towards.
In other words, you have to create a vision and belief for your dream life (Steps 1 and 2), you then you have to take action towards it (Steps 3 and 4) so that you can create it.
It’s as stupidly simple as that.
